Intangible Cultural Heritage

I've posted before about UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage. There are hundreds of examples of this around the world, which include music, dancing, food etc.

Earlier this year, the UK National Commission for UNESCO and Nottingham Trent University (NTU) launched four pilot projects exploring how intangible cultural heritage gives UNESCO-designated places meaning. 

I was invited to write about some of the work taking place to bring living heritage to life through community-led placemaking and creative practice across four historic communities within the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site.
