Canterbury Cathedral's Bell Ceremony

Canterbury Cathedral is the oldest cathedral in the UK. I visited last week as part of a trip to the city which included visiting some of the locations of 'A Canterbury Tale' and heading for Dungeness.

I visited last week and happened to be there at the time when the Bell Ceremony was to take place in one of the transepts. The service has taken place every year for 100 years.

It's a short daily act of remembrance.

It was a privilege to be there and to be a small part of it.
