A good headline for a piece on Simon Armitage's new poem to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd's 'Wish you were Here'.
The Poet Laureate, who is a geography graduate, has written about the music which meant a lot to him growing up in Huddersfield. He talks about the punks (who I remember were still very visible in the city centre of Huddersfield in 1982 when I arrived there to start my degree at the Polytechnic).
